APPEARANCE
Keith is very average in appearance, the type of person who could easily blend into a crowd. Without shoes he stands about five foot ten inches, and altogether weighs about one hundred forty pounds. His light brown hair is usually kept short, parted to one side, and is naturally wavy. Even at his very young age, there are already hints of hairs turning lighter, the early sighs of premature graying. His eyes are hazel-brown, though the one on his right contains more brown than the other. His jaw is soft, giving him a gentle appearance, but the squint of his eyes show his skills of observation.
Keith is fit but not muscular, strength not as important in his line of work. His face and arms are strongly tanned, but he is naturally pale. He has various scars, all in different stages of fading, and none apparently serious. Always wearing a suit, though his office shoes are replaced with boots when he's out in the field.
PERSONALITY
Keith is not an outgoing person, and he often has problems communicating with others in social settings. He isn't a bad sort, however, and has several friends in the Marshals, though few acquaintances outside the service. When not on duty or drinking with his friends, he usually prefers somewhere dark and quiet to read. He is not a natural born leader, but has had to lead several task forces, so it is one of his skills. He is intelligent, slightly arrogant, but unafraid to rethink his beliefs if something challenges them.
His job has left him slightly ruthless when it comes to troublemakers, or people who don't respect authority. Safety of others is still one of his most important concerns, however, trained into him from his police days.

Keith was born to a pair of upper-middle-class workers, who both had boring jobs he can barely remember half the time. As he grew older, he experienced the average kid's life; staying clear of bullies, going out on dates, studying psychology for a few years before surprising everyone by becoming a cop. He had never made any sort of hint that his aspirations lay in that direction. He was very good at what he did, if a little by the book, and it took him less than a year to become a jaded officer.
He joined the Marshals soon after, going through the rigorous physical training that differentiated the Marshal service from the other federal services. Like all Marshals, he started on court duty, advancing quickly thanks to several lucky opportunities. A short stint in WitSec and then he joined the Fugitive Task Force. It was here that he shined.
